FAQ—Frequently Asked Questions
Why I choose Breakdance for WordPress
Breakdance for WordPress has earned a spot in my top five page builders. Though early buzz positioned it as the “Elementor killer,” it never quite disrupted the market the way many expected—despite being the stronger product overall. That said, Breakdance is far from an also-ran. It’s a capable, all-in-one WordPress site builder that stands out for how well it handles dynamic content and WooCommerce, making it a solid choice for blogs and online stores alike.Content goes here ..

5 Things I Love About Breakdance
1. A Complete Solution
Breakdance provides everything required to build and launch a fully functional website within WordPress — from layout and design to forms, dynamic data, and SEO — eliminating the need for multiple third-party plugins.
2. Designed for All Skill Levels
Breakdance strikes a deliberate balance between accessibility and depth. Its intuitive interface allows beginners to get up and running quickly, while its advanced controls — including custom CSS, dynamic data bindings, and conditional logic — give experienced developers the flexibility they need.
3. Low Learning Curve
The builder is thoughtfully structured, with a logical, consistent interface that reduces the time needed to become proficient. Among WordPress page builders, Breakdance is widely regarded as one of the most approachable, without sacrificing capability.
4. Stability and Responsible Updates
Breakdance maintains a strong reputation for stability, with fewer reported bugs compared to many competing builders. Updates are released on a consistent schedule and undergo rigorous beta testing before public rollout, ensuring a reliable and predictable production environment.
5. A Credible Alternative to Elementor
Breakdance was built with a clear awareness of the limitations commonly associated with Elementor—including bloated code output, performance overhead, and inconsistent behaviour. For users seeking a leaner, more performant, and better-structured builder, Breakdance represents a compelling—and by many accounts, superior—alternative.
5 Areas Where Breakdance Can Improve Upon
It is worth noting that I really find it difficult to find fault with Breakdance. I love this builder for WordPres. The builder is genuinely enjoyable to use and covers the vast majority of website-building requirements comprehensively. The points below are offered as constructive observations rather than significant complaints.
1. Pricing
Breakdance sits at a higher price point compared to several competing builders. That said, the cost is largely justified by the breadth and quality of what is included—a well-rounded, capable product that reduces reliance on additional plugins. For users evaluating value over cost alone, the trade-off is generally favourable.
2. Inconsistent Starter Site Installation
The one-click starter sites are professionally designed and visually polished; however, the installation process is unreliable in certain scenarios. Importing a starter site into an environment with existing content, or switching between multiple demos, frequently produces incomplete results. Required plugins—such as WooCommerce—are not always installed automatically, and navigation menus are not consistently configured upon import.
3. Underdeveloped Elements
In an effort to match the extensive element library offered by Elementor—and its ecosystem of third-party add-ons—Breakdance has introduced a broad range of elements, several of which remain underdeveloped. Some have not received meaningful updates in a considerable period. A notable example is the before/after image comparison element, which in its current state lacks the functionality and reliability expected of a production-ready tool.
4. Excessive Navigation Depth
Accessing certain basic settings requires navigating through multiple layers of nested panels—sometimes up to six levels deep. This adds unnecessary friction to routine tasks and represents an area where the user experience could be meaningfully streamlined.
5. Floating Settings Panels
The floating settings panels are a useful feature in principle; however, their current behaviour presents a persistent usability issue. Clicking anywhere outside the active panel—whether on the canvas, another element, or even within the same element’s settings—causes the panel to close. This requires the user to repeatedly reopen and reposition the panel, interrupting workflow.
